Regional Availability
Before you get started, make sure to check the Service status website to ensure GeForce NOW Premium memberships are available in your region. Note that we also require your latency to be less than 80ms from an NVIDIA data center, but we recommend less than 40ms. Please make sure you have run our in-app network test to measure your latency. We do not recommend using Speedtest, or other internet speed test services, as they do not test your speed to our data centers.

Internet Speed Requirements
GeForce NOW requires at least 15 mbps for streaming at 720p and 60/120 FPS, or 25 mbps at 1080p and 60/120 FPS, or 35 mbps at 1440p and 60/120 FPS.  We also recommend a 5GHz wireless router.

Maximum Resolution and Frames Per Second
With an premium membership, the maximum streaming resolutions and frames per second on Android devices using the native GeForce NOW app are 2560x1600, 2560x1440, 3840x1080, 2560x1080, 1920x1080 at 120 FPS. Note: 120 FPS requires a GeForce NOW Ultimate membership.

Hardware Requirements
120 FPS streaming will require a phone or tablet that supports 120Hz.  The following devices have been fully tested by NVIDIA to stream at 120 FPS:

GeForce NOW Streaming Settings

You have the option of adjusting your streaming quality settings from the GeForce NOW menu. To access these settings, launch GeForce NOW and go to Settings > Streaming Quality.

Balanced mode

Balanced takes full advantage of available bandwidth to deliver high image quality and gameplay experience.

Custom mode

If you wish to override the streaming resolution, you can do so by adjusting values in the Custom streaming quality settings.

Customized In-Game Graphics Setting
NVIDIA has optimized our most popular games for streaming at 120 FPS. For these games, we automatically set the best in-game graphics settings: You should not need to change any settings to get the best experience.

However, you are free to change settings if you feel doing so provides you with a better streaming experience. We have provided a new feature that lets you save your own in-game graphics settings for each game. If you disable it, our recommended values will be applied.

NOTE:  this settings will apply in-game settings across ALL GeForce NOW devices used with your NVIDIA account.

Audio Support
We support 2-channel stereo for Free Memberships. Premium memberships support stereo and 5.1 surround. GeForce NOW Ultimate memberships can support 2-channel stereo, 5.1 surround, and 7.1 surround.
