The best gadget I bought in 2024. Period. Had to bite the bullet and get me one of these. It's just a makeshift setup right now, but I got it running. Gosh, it does have a learning curve, and the NAS rabbit hole is limitless. For those who are new to this, and from what I have learned, this is a NAS = Network Attached Storage. See the bays? You install hard drives in those bays (even SSDs if you wish), with each one having around 1TB - 22TB (upto you). I have only populated two at the moment. It's connected to your network, so you can access this data FAST from any device in your local network, OR, can also access the data from anywhere in the world. Just published a video about my gear and software recommendations for this holiday season, live on PiXimperfect, which includes this as a must-have!
